Saved by Sushi

Well this week was Half Term holiday for the boy and my first break since October. We had a lovely weekend visiting one of my many siblings and his family up in North Yorkshire to start us off, but thanks to an on going washing machine saga have spent every other day housebound waiting for various people to come and do things I don’t understand with pipes.
On one day they came before lunch and so Jonathan and I were able to make our escape and run into town for a sushi lunch.
We’re completely spoilt in Watford for places to eat but nowhere do we love more than Sushi-no-Mai

Watford is literally littered with restaurants and eateries, it’s a food lovers heaven, but hidden away in Watford Market is the fabulous Sushi-no-Mai. Jonathan and I have been going since it opened in the old market in Charter Place, and have continued to be regulars since the market relocated.
Sadly the market itself is much quieter since the move but everyone’s favourite sushi place is still always packed.
Offering a range of hot options including ramen and curries alongside the most delicious sushi and sashimi, everything is incredibly reasonably priced. The staff are friendly and kind and you can watch it all being made whilst you wait.
They are a small team though so expect to wait if they’re busy.
Takeaway is also an option and their cabinet is filled with a wide variety of selection boxes for you to choose from in addition to taking orders from the menu.
In short if you ever have reason to be in Watford, do swing by the market and say hello to the team at Sushi-no-Mai. You won’t regret it xxx
